  • Every passenger MUST bring their own medical insurance, otherwise they will not be able to enter the Galapagos Islands.
Requirements
  • Procure Medical and/or Travel insurance prior to your trip.
  • Luggage: We suggest you take a 10kg suitcase and a carry on. This is what is allowed by the local airlines. Please bear in mind that trips in Galapagos take place outdoors and include hikes, swimming, scuba diving, and other physical activities that require comfortable, lightweight, informal clothing.

Clothing: For the hot months (December — May) we recommend a bathing suit, T-shirts, shorts, sunglasses, cap or hat, insect repellent, sunscreen, sport shoes that are good for walking in lava and rocks, and sandals. For the cooler months (June — November), a waterproof jacket or poncho and light pants are necessary. Other important items are lip balm, eye drops, waterproof bags for electronic equipment, binoculars, patches or pills for seasickness, a photo or video camera and enough film, batteries or chargers and any personal medications that you normally take.

Price

Day 1.- Santa Cruz Island – Highlands – Primicias Ranch – Charles Darwin Station

Flight from Quito or Guayaquil to Baltra´s airport. Upon arrival, our representative will be waiting for you at the airport to assist you in everything you need. On the way, we will stop by in order to visit the highlands of the island and visit the Primicias Ranch where we will be bushwalking and looking for a giant Galapagos tortoise in the wild.
After a relaxing hike looking at these amazing reptiles, we will visit the lava tunnels and have lunch in a typical restaurant and eventually, we will continue with the transfer to the hotel.
After a short break, we will visit the Charles Darwin Station. At the station, we will be able to see a variety of species of Giant Tortoises in captivity. We will watch their different size and age, and learn the Islands they originally come from. We will listen about the ongoing conservation efforts directed at preserving the Giant Tortoises, as well as the environment of the archipelago as a whole.
Then, return to the hotel for dinner and accommodation.
Note: To execute this itinerary, it is important to choose an early flight that arrives maximum at 10am to Baltra

Day 2.- Santa Cruz Island – Channels of Love – Bay Tour.

In the morning, we will take a tour around the bay. We will visit Punta Estrada, the Germans’ Beach, Channels of Love and the Grietas.During this trip, you will be able to watch seabirds and sea lions and you can surface dive. Lunch at the Muelle de Darwin Restaurant.
In the afternoon, the guide will take you to enjoy Tortuga Bay. Here, you walk for approximately 45 minutes, through a cactus trail on to the first beach, which is called Playa Brava due to its strong currents. On this beach you would see a lot of marine iguanas, marine birds and pelicans.
After visiting Playa Brava, we continue with an additional 15 min walk in order to reach Playa Mansa. This second beach is a natural lagoon visited by blue footed boobies and pelicans. It is also a beautiful place for swimming, kayaking or just relax at the beach.

Day 3: Isabela Island – Flamingos Pound & Wall of Tears

After lunch, you will go to the port in order to embark on a public speedboat that will take us to Isabela Island, one of the most beautiful islands in the Archipelago. After a cruise of 2 ½ hours we will reach this corner of paradise. On your arrival, a person will take you to the hotel for check in.

In the afternoon we will visit the Giant Tortoise Breeding Center where you will learn about the breeding and farming of giant tortoises and see all the work that is being done to help recover the wild populations of these species. Then, we will take a walk around flamingo lagoon. After that we will go towards the “Wall of Tears”. This historical place was built by the prisoners of Ecuador’s first jail. On our way back we will stop at the Orchilla viewpoint. From the top, you can see the entire coastal wetland system including Poza de los Diablos, Puerto Villamil, the beaches, the volcanoes and the islets to the south-east of Isabela. It’s a great location for panoramic photos on clear days.

Day 4: Isabela Island -Sierra Negra Volcano – Campo Duro Farm – Tintoreras

Approximately at 7:30 am, our guide will meet you at the hotel and take you to one of the most beautiful volcanoes in the world, Sierra Negra. Its crater is approximately 7 kilometers wide. We Will drive for about 45 minutes to the Galapagos National Park control site in order to record the visit. Then, we will begin a trek to the Sierra Negra and Chico Volcano. We will take a two-hour trekking tour to enjoy this wonderful and unique scenery. Lunch in a local farm called Campo Duro where we will also watch Isabela Giant Tortoises.

Back to Puerto Villamil town, we will visit Tintoreras Islets. Herds of white tip sharks can often be seen here, resting around the lava canals. You can also observe hundreds of marine iguanas, as “Las Tintoreras” are one of their main breeding sites. On the nearby sandy beaches, sea lions play and relax in the sun. Afterwards we will have an opportunity to snorkel. Return to the hotel and lodging.

Day 5 : Isabela Island – San Cristobal Island

After breakfast, we will be transferred to the Concha Perla for snorkeling. Then, you will return to the hotel for the Lunch.
After lunch we will take an inter-island flight in a plane with a capacity of 5 to 9 passengers. The flight from Isabela to the San Cristobal Airport takes 40 minutes. The guide will pick you up at the arrivals area of the airport and will take you to your hotel in the village to drop your luggage. We will finish the day with a snorkeling activity at Playa Mann and watching the sea lions around you or just take a quiet stroll beside the sea and try the local specialties dishes. “The lobster” is one of the most famous.

Day 6 : San Cristobal Island – Quito / Guayaquil

Your first activity in the day will be La Loberia beach where you can snorkel and you might be accompanied by sea lions and beautiful fish. You have some free time at the beach before you will be dropped off at your hotel for the check out.
After this you will be brought to the airport (SCY). so you can take your flight back to Quito or Guayaquil. The tour will end upon arrival at the airport. If you decide to stay in Quito we could arrange the transfer for you.
