During your free time in-between activities you can use our kayaks, swim in the lagoon, have a massage or just relax in your room and have a nap!
On the last day of your visit at La Selva, there will be no scheduled activities as you will be leaving in the morning to catch your flight in Coca returning to Quito. |

DAY 1
- Check in – hotel greets with a native drink.
- Guided walk to Kuyana’s Island and Guitarracocha trail.
Ancestral cultural knowledge has given Guitarracocha its name, because, at night in this small lagoon-like formation you can hear the sound of guitars. In this route you can explore Kuyana Island visit the
view point, and take a refreshing bath on its banks.
Level of difficulty 2.5, on a 5-point scale, and it lasts around 2.5 hours round trip.

DAY 2
- Bird watching around the lodge;
Early in the morning around Kuyana Lodge’s trails you can witness the beauty of Amazonian birdlife and its songs. Species like orioles, caciques, kingfishers, parrots, parakeets and many different species of tanagers will be part of this unforgettable experience.
Level of difficulty 2 on a 5-point scale, and it lasts around 2 hours round trip.

- Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner: made from a fusion of fresh local ingredients;
- Guided walk to Ushpayacu waterfalls. The Usphayacu estero is formed of water eyes and natural springs of the area. The Estero crosses Kuyana Amazon Lodge, its great attraction and makes this walk the ideal place to immerse ourselves in the jungle and enjoy this place in its maximum splendor, you will be able to observe waterfalls that are formed along the walk. Along the way you will also observe several species of birds, insects and other animals in the area.

DAY 3
- Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner: made from a fusion of fresh local ingredients;
- (OPTION 1)All day rafting class III . You will have 4 hours to feel the adrenaline rush of running class III rapids. Our professional and internationally certified guides will make you laugh and enjoy every part of the day while you feel safe and comfortable. Discover crystal clear waters, colorful orchids and Amazonian landscapes that will leave you impressed. We make sure to take you through the most exciting parts of the river so you can enjoy it to the fullest. Stop to swim, relax, and play games on the beach.

- (OPTION 2) Amazon Safari
Guided tour in non-motorized canoe to a beautiful lagoon, where we can see countless birds, some monkeys and other species. Travel on the Napo River in a motorized canoe until you reach an indigenous community, where they will receive you with a dance and teach you a bit of their culture.
Degree of difficulty 2, on a scale of 5 points, and lasts about 6 hours.
